Job Description

You will lead SEEK’s Recruitment Innovation team within Pay-Per-Hire to lift delivery excellence and speed to hire across Australia and Malaysia. You will own team performance, translate frontline insight into disciplined experiments and influence how AI, tooling and process design evolve. You will partner closely with Product, Growth, Sales and Operations to improve hiring outcomes and scale what works.

Pay Per Hire is a pay-for-placement service for hard-to-fill roles that now operates only in Australia and Malaysia with objective to improve hiring automation, speed-to-hire, and placement outcomes in SEEK’s core products.

You will manage a team of 10 Recruitment Innovation Specialists/Leads and report to the Head of Commercial Growth. You will build capability, set quality standards and remove blockers so the team can deliver end-to-end recruitment outcomes. You will turn operational learning into clear recommendations that shape SEEK’s future hiring solutions and operating rhythms. You will define how experiments run, create strong feedback loops with Product and help replicate successful approaches across both markets.

Key responsibilities:

1. Lead and develop a high-performing cross-market team:

  • Lead, coach and support a 10-person team across Australia and Malaysia.
  • Set priorities, role clarity, ways of working and quality standards.
  • Remove blockers and build capability through coaching, feedback and mentoring

2. Drive delivery excellence and end-to-end hiring outcomes:

  • Ensure high-quality end-to-end hiring across intake, sourcing, screening and offers.
  • Triage complex roles and escalations; act fast to protect momentum and outcomes.
  • Monitor performance, quality and throughput; course-correct quickly when off track.

3. Lead experimentation, innovation and AI incubation:

  • Run disciplined experiments tied to real customer outcomes and speed to hire.
  • Partner with Product, Growth and Operations to test workflows, prompts and automation.
  • Turn frontline insights into tooling, process and experience recommendations.

4. Design and optimise the operating system for the team:

  • Build and refine workflows, rhythms, service levels and playbooks.
  • Drive consistent, effective tool use with strong human judgement and trusted data.
  • Remove recurring friction by fixing root causes and simplifying work.

5. Partner across Growth, Product, Sales and Operations:

  • Align with cross-functional partners on priorities, test plans and market needs.
  • Inject operational insight into roadmap, experiments and scale decisions.
  • Share learnings across markets to replicate what works and avoid duplication.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience (10 years) in recruitment, operations, customer success, service delivery or growth with delivery accountability.
  • Proven people leadership of high-performing individual contributors.
  • Experience leading teams through ambiguity and evolving operating models.
  • Track record designing and running structured experiments or process improvements.
  • Cross-functional experience with product, commercial and operational stakeholders.
  • Confidence using multiple systems and AI-enabled tools and enabling team adoption.
