Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join a Platform Services team responsible for building and maintaining customer-facing web applications used by both businesses and consumers.

In this role, you will help develop modern React-based applications, improve user experiences, contribute to shared UI systems, and support the ongoing evolution of a large-scale frontend ecosystem. You will work on both modern React applications and the gradual modernization of legacy frontend components.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex frontend challenges, improving application quality and performance, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-impact products.

Responsibilities

• Develop new frontend features using React and TypeScript

• Maintain and improve existing React and legacy frontend applications

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to deliver high-quality user experiences

• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs

• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions

• Improve frontend performance, accessibility, and maintainability

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

• Contribute to testing strategies and frontend quality initiatives

• Work across multiple applications and shared UI components

• Follow established engineering standards and best practices

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Frontend Engineering experience.

• Strong experience building production applications with React.

• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.

• Experience with Redux and Redux Toolkit for state management.

• Experience using React Router and modern frontend application patterns.

• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.

• Familiarity with component libraries such as Material UI (MUI) or similar frameworks.

• Experience writing and maintaining frontend tests using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library and Enzyme.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in production environments.

• Commitment to writing maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code.

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

• Experience working effectively within cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern frontend tooling and build systems (e.g., Vite, Webpack, Rollup).

• Experience with styling frameworks and component-driven development.

• Experience building and maintaining design systems or shared component libraries.

• Knowledge of GraphQL and modern data-fetching patterns.

• Experience with observability, monitoring, and performance optimization tools.

• Experience implementing analytics, event tracking, or experimentation platforms.

• Experience integrating payment providers such as Stripe, PayPal, or similar services.

• Strong understanding of accessibility best practices and inclusive user experiences.
