Job Description

You are supporting the team of license management with the focus on correct and efficient licensing of a defined range of software products from the global software portfolio of ContiTech.

Tasks:

  • Processing and storing of license documents, especially according to valid license metrics
  • Supporting the ordering process for maintenance and subscriptions
  • Ensuring documentation of license acquisition in the license management tool
  • Issuing and managing license keys
  • Contributing to measures for risk mitigation
  • Determining and validating data sets for periodic license reports
  • Preparing and supporting internal license audits
  • Monitoring data quality of license types and usage
  • Supporting the the budget planning process for centrally managed software usage rights
  • Providing analyses and data for ad-hoc inquiries
  • Participating in activities for internal or external inquiries

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration with a relevant focus
  • Professional experience in IT license management, IT controlling, or IT license consulting
  • Basic knowledge of internal procedural instructions on compliance, workflows, and approvals
  • Preferably certification as a license manager (TÜV, CSLP, CSAM, or comparable) as well as ITIL Foundation (v3, v4)
  • Basic knowledge in finance, such as purchase-to-pay, project cost planning, investment calculation
  • Solid mathematical and statistical knowledge with high affinity for numbers and statistics
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
