Job Description

  • Independently prepare, analyze, and further develop management reports, while coordinating forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes at group level
  • Advise and support the management teams of the ITS companies and SWARCO ITS Services GmbH on financial matters as well as strategic and operational decision-making
  • Conduct in-depth financial and business analyses and derive actionable recommendations to support business performance management
  • Actively contribute to the implementation of central holding functions within Group Controlling
  • Establish, further develop, and monitor risk and opportunity management processes within the project and business environment
  • Support and actively drive international finance, transformation, and SAP projects
  • Identify optimization and automation opportunities in reporting and controlling processes and implement improvement initiatives
  • Further develop, standardize, and harmonize controlling processes, tools, and standards in close collaboration with business departments and local teams across the global finance community

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of relevant professional experience (ideally 10+ years) in Controlling or Finance, preferably in an international and project-driven business environment
  • Strong expertise in reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP FI/CO or comparable ERP systems, as well as advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with BI and reporting tools is an advantage
  • Proven experience in establishing and further developing controlling processes, reporting structures, management tools, or group-wide standards
  • Experience in risk and opportunity management and working within complex project and corporate structures
  • Strong understanding of business and financial interrelationships, with the ability to present and communicate complex topics clearly to different target audiences
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
  • Strong analytical and conceptual abilities, high level of initiative, and the capability to actively drive change processes while acting as a trusted business partner to management
