About the Role

As a Compliance & PPGR Financial Services Lead at GoTo Financial, you’ll tackle the challenge of translating fast-changing fintech regulations into clear business actions. Your work will safeguard trust with regulators while enabling product and market innovation. You’ll also drive public policy engagement, shaping dialogues with regulators and industry bodies to create a fair, forward-looking regulatory environment. In this role, you’ll work closely with product, marketing, senior leadership, and external stakeholders to guide decisions, influence policy, and ensure regulatory alignment.

### What You Will Do

Lead the design and execution of compliance strategies that align with GoTo Financial’s business goals while meeting OJK and other regulatory requirements.

Interpret new and evolving regulations, translate them into actionable guidance, and ensure timely implementation across products and functions.

Drive proactive engagement with regulators, policymakers, and industry associations to shape fair and future-ready fintech regulations.

Advise business leadership and cross-functional teams (product, marketing, operations) on regulatory risks, enabling informed business decisions.

Build a culture of compliance judgment and ethical decision-making within the team

Lead regulatory discussions and represent GoTo Financial’s interests in financial services area

Monitor regulatory trends and anticipate their impact on business models, ensuring the company stays agile and ahead of compliance risks.

### What You Will Need

7+ years experience in compliance or public policy roles within fintech, payments, or financial services, combined with experience in business and operation roles is a plus

Strong regulatory knowledge of OJK and Indonesia’s financial sector regulations and with the ability to interpret and apply evolving regulations.

Excellent judgment and critical thinking, with the ability to balance regulatory requirements and business needs.

Skilled communicator who can simplify complex regulations for diverse internal stakeholders and build trust with regulators and policymakers.

Leadership ability to influence without formal authority, collaborate across teams

About the Team

The Financial Services Compliance team is a critical unit in the GTF ecosystem, it acts as a point of contact between GTF regulated entities with Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) as the regulator. As a Financial Services Compliance team, we are obliged to ensure the adherence of internal divisions/units to payments system regulations, and at the same time to help ensure the business units are in a strategic position to execute all the business initiatives.

The Financial Services Compliance team itself combines youthful energy and responsibility as expected from mature individuals. We foster a healthy and conducive environment for the members to share their opinions and thoughts and we promote high responsibility for each task assigned to all team members. All of those are critical aspects for the team to be able to interact, make sound judgment and give advice to many other functions within the GoTo ecosystem.
