We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to drive business growth and expand market presence for cloud and enterprise technology solutions. This role is ideal for sales professionals who possess a strong understanding of cloud technologies, Red Hat solutions, and enterprise IT environments, along with a passion for building customer relationships and delivering business value.

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with enterprise customers, and driving the adoption of cloud-based solutions across various industries. You will work closely with technology teams, solution architects, and business stakeholders to understand customer requirements and position the right cloud solutions that align with their digital transformation goals.

The ideal candidate combines strong consultative selling skills with technical awareness of cloud platforms, hybrid infrastructure, open-source technologies, and enterprise modernization initiatives. You should be comfortable interacting with decision-makers, managing sales cycles, conducting product discussions, and contributing to long-term customer success.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across enterprise and mid-market customers.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Generate leads through networking, prospecting, referrals, industry events, and strategic outreach activities.
  • Develop account penetration strategies to expand business within existing customer accounts.
  • Drive end-to-end sales activities from opportunity identification through deal closure.

Cloud Solution Sales

  • Promote and position cloud solutions, infrastructure modernization services, and enterprise technology offerings.
  • Understand customer business challenges and recommend appropriate cloud adoption strategies.
  • Educate customers on the benefits of hybrid cloud, open-source technologies, container platforms, and enterprise automation solutions.
  • Support customers throughout their cloud transformation journey by providing consultative guidance and solution recommendations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to create tailored proposals and solution presentations.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, business leaders, and technology decision-makers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer objectives and aligning solutions with business needs.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings, solution discussions, and business reviews.
  • Maintain long-term client relationships that drive repeat business and account growth.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement throughout the sales lifecycle.

Sales Strategy & Market Intelligence

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technology opportunities.
  • Identify customer pain points and develop strategies to address evolving business requirements.
  • Provide market feedback and customer insights to leadership and product teams.
  • Support go-to-market initiatives and contribute to business expansion strategies.
  • Stay updated on cloud computing trends, enterprise technology developments, and industry best practices.

Proposal Development & Deal Management

  • Prepare compelling business proposals, solution presentations, and commercial recommendations.
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop competitive pricing and value propositions.
  • Participate in contract discussions, negotiations, and deal closure activities.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM records.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and effective management of sales opportunities.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 2+ years of experience in technology sales, cloud sales, enterprise software sales, or IT solutions sales.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, infrastructure solutions, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
  • Experience selling Red Hat solutions, open-source technologies, or cloud platform services is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, build pipelines, and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong consultative selling and business development capabilities.
  • Experience engaging with enterprise customers, technology teams, and business decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into business-focused technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud, containers, virtualization, Linux environments, and enterprise modernization initiatives is an advantage.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities.
