Tagaddod is seeking a Senior Traceability & Systems Analyst to own the end-to-end traceability of material movements across multiple countries. This role sits at the intersection of operations, inventory management, sustainability, data quality, and process controls.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that physical inventory movements, operational systems, supporting documentation, and sustainability records remain aligned, accurate, and audit-ready. This is a hands-on role that requires deep engagement with operational data, cross-functional teams, and documentation management.
As the business continues to enhance its systems and automation capabilities, the role will evolve from manual tracking and reconciliation toward control testing, exception monitoring, process improvement, and traceability assurance.
Responsibilities
1. Material Traceability Management
- Track materials throughout their lifecycle, from collection and processing to storage, transfer, and final sale.
- Verify that inventory movements are accurately recorded across operational systems and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile information from multiple sources, including:
- Operational systems
- Inventory reports
- Country team trackers
- Storage records
- Transfer documentation
- Dispatch records
- Sustainability records
- Supporting documents and archives
- Ensure consistency between physical inventory movements and system records.
2. Data Quality & Issue Resolution
- Proactively identify discrepancies, gaps, and inconsistencies within traceability records.
- Investigate and resolve issues including:
- Missing movement records
- Missing supporting documentation
- Quantity variances
- Timing mismatches
- Duplicate entries
- Filing inconsistencies
- Delayed system updates
- Incomplete submissions from country teams
- Dashboard and reporting discrepancies
- Coordinate with stakeholders across countries and functions to close gaps and maintain data integrity.
- Escalate unresolved issues and drive corrective actions.
3. Reporting & Dashboard Development
- Develop and maintain traceability reporting and performance metrics.
- Monitor and report on:
- Material movement status
- Inventory by location and processing stage
- Documentation completeness
- Open discrepancies and exceptions
- Data quality by country
- System adoption and compliance
- Aging of unresolved issues
- Audit readiness indicators
- Collaborate with Data and Technology teams to define reporting requirements, validation rules, exception reporting, and dashboard logic.
- Support continuous improvement of reporting capabilities and business visibility.
4. Documentation & Evidence Management
- Establish and maintain structured documentation systems and evidence repositories.
- Design and enforce document management standards, including:
- Folder structures
- Naming conventions
- File organization standards
- Evidence archiving processes
- Link supporting documentation to material movements and traceability records.
- Monitor document completeness and retrieval readiness.
- Ensure records remain organized, accessible, and audit-ready.
5. System Adoption & Process Compliance
- Monitor adherence to traceability processes and system usage standards.
- Identify areas where users:
- Bypass systems
- Delay updates
- Enter incomplete information
- Rely on offline trackers
- Partner with operational teams to improve compliance and data quality.
- Support user adoption initiatives and process standardization efforts.
- Promote best practices in traceability management across regions.
6. Controls, Audits & Continuous Improvement
As systems mature, the role will increasingly focus on:
- Sample-based data audits
- Exception testing and monitoring
- System output validation
- Control effectiveness assessments
- Process improvement initiatives
- Automation opportunities
- Reduction of manual reconciliations
- Strengthening traceability controls through system design and governance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Administration or related field.
- 5+ years experience in traceability, systems analysis, or supply chain data management role .
- Strong knowledge of traceability concepts, standards, and technologies, preferably within renewable energy, biofuel, or commodities sectors.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to work across multiple data sources.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
