Software engineer (Product Development & Engineering ) - 6 Months Contract

Position Summary:

Belmont Lavan Ltd is seeking a talented Software Engineer for Product Development & Engineering on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, working closely with product teams to develop innovative and robust software solutions that meet market needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain software products in alignment with product requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and QA.
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure software quality through automated testing and continuous integration practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues promptly.
• Stay current with latest technologies and incorporate them into the development process where suitable.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in software development, preferably in product development environments.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python or JavaScript.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
