The Security Specialist connects application design, AI solutions, and cybersecurity. This hands-on role ensures that applications are built and operated securely while meeting business, regulatory, and organizational requirements.,
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership
- Embed security requirements into applications and AI solutions without limiting agility.
- Translate technical security concepts into clear, practical documentation.
- Support teams in understanding and applying security best practices.
Project Delivery
- Document security controls, configurations, and risk assessments for new and evolving solutions.
- Coordinate investigations with specialized security teams.
- Contribute to threat modeling and secure design reviews.
Operational Stability
- Act as the primary contact for security topics in live systems.
- Maintain documentation for monitoring and incident response.
- Support compliance by aligning documentation with policies and audit needs.
- Track and report the effectiveness of implemented controls.
Team Contribution
- Promote continuous improvement and proactively identify issues.
- Support and strengthen company culture through collaboration and best practices.
Professional Conduct
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.
- Follow internal policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
- Encourage effective communication and constructive feedback.
- Support organizational values and assist with additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of professional experience in a similar or related role
- Proficient in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus
- Strong understanding of application architecture and data governance
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards; awareness of AI/ML security concepts
- Experience producing high-quality technical and security documentation
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong team player who delivers on own responsibilities while supporting others
- Comfortable working in multicultural and geographically distributed teams
- Adaptable to change and able to operate effectively in a dynamic environment
