Shift: Rotating Day & Night Shifts (5:50 AM – 6:00 PM / 5:50 PM – 6:00 AM)

Pay: $25.09/hr + $2.00/hr shift differential

Job Type: Full-time

Position Overview

Join Avery Dennison as a Coating Machine Operator. We are seeking a mechanically curious, results-driven professional to take ownership of our high-speed manufacturing lines. In this role, you will safely set up, operate, and maintain production equipment while driving quality control and operational excellence. Core Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Safely set up, run, and change over complex coating machinery, monitors, and winding consoles.

• Troubleshooting: Use mechanical aptitude and curiosity to diagnose root causes of equipment malfunctions early, completing minor repairs to reduce downtime.

• Quality Control: Follow strict SOP guidelines and use precision measuring tools to conduct quality inspections, ensuring products meet specifications.

• Process Monitoring: Read digital gauges, meters, and flow ratios to adjust temperatures and pressures for continuous, optimal flow.

• Team Collaboration: Maintain accurate digital logs while championing a "Team Before Self" environment to meet safe production goals.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.

• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and analytical troubleshooting skills.

• Digital Fluency: Comfortable navigating computer applications for data entry and production tracking.

• Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk up to 80% of a shift; lift up to 50 lbs; and bend, reach, or squat frequently.

• Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to shifting priorities.
