The Member Foundations Health team is part of our Member Engineering organization, working alongside distributed systems engineers and ML researchers. The Member Foundations Health team is responsible for building and maintaining tools that enhance developer productivity and operational excellence. The team will support dozens of engineers in Netflix who are responsible for services that support thousands of queries per second and are crucial for content discovery, including the Homepage, Search and New & Hot pages.
We are seeking a strong full-stack engineer to build and maintain tools that enhance developer productivity and operational excellence across Member Experience services.
Snapshot of projects you may work on:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement debugging tools for their services.
- Enhance our user interfaces to provide intuitive and seamless experiences for engineers, incorporating feedback and best practices to improve usability and adoption.
- Incorporate GenAI tools to enhance developer productivity by automating repetitive tasks.
We would love to work with you if:
- You are proficient with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React/Typescript).
- You have experience with at least one backend language/framework (e.g. Java/Spring).
- You have experience building and consuming RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a plus).
- You proactively communicate with cross-functional teams to drive projects.
- You have a BS/MS in Computer Science, Applied Math, Engineering, or a related field.
- You have experience working with teams distributed across multiple time zones.
It would be nice if:
- You have experience with the latest GenAI stack (LLMs, RAG, Agents/Tools)
- You have experience building distributed backend systems.
- You have experience building developer tools.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $388,000.00 - $558,000.00. This compensation range will vary based on location.
