Shuttering Carpenter (Sizewell C)

Main Duties:

• Formwork Construction
• Build and assemble shutters/formwork for concrete pours (e.g. columns, slabs, walls, beams, and bases).
• Measure, cut, and assemble timber, plywood, or metal formwork panels in line with drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all formwork is level, plumb, square, and properly aligned.
• Concrete Pour Preparation
• Check formwork stability and tightness before each concrete pour.
• Apply release agents and prepare surfaces as required.
• Assist during the pour to ensure even filling and prevent blowouts or deformation of the formwork.
• Quality and Workmanship
• Maintain high workmanship standards to meet tolerance and finish requirements.
• Report any issues, defects, or discrepancies to the site supervisor immediately.

Requirements:

• CSCS Blue card
• Previous Shuttering carpenter experience is a must.
