Accountabilities:
A Senior Cybersecurity Analyst works with Security Operations team to identify and monitor security threats to an organization’s cyber systems and respond to these incidents and mitigate any risks coming toward the customer network.
Responsibilities
- Day to day Security Monitoring;
- Day to day threat hunting;
- Continuously developing security solutions;
- Recommend implementing security tools to prevent the same security issues from happening again;
- Document and educate team members on appropriate reporting procedures.
- Preform optimization and enhancement of security monitoring tools, regular fine-tuning and filtering.
- Investigate root cause, document findings, implement recovery strategies, and communicate status to team members.

Reporting:
· Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will be reporting to Cyber Security Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Education: University degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Holding certificates on IT security such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP or equivalent
- Experience: 5+ years of IT security experience
- Special Skills: Expert understanding of the current and developing Malware & Trojan landscape. In-depth know-how of full packet capture technologies. Knowledge of correlation tools and SIEM technologies In-depth understanding of sandbox technologies and their limitations. In-depth experience of SourceFire, Snort, or similar Intrusion Detection systems. Expert knowledge of Intrusion Detection signature development and knowledge of log analysis tools and techniques.
