MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to join our vehicle sustainment team in Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Performs all functional duties independently in support of ALECS maintenance operations.
• Plans, directs, or coordinates the ALECS maintenance operations for assigned Technical Directional Letter organizations.
• Formulates maintenance policies, managing daily maintenance operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.
• Works with functional area leads on the management or administration of personnel and property.
• Utilizes LogMASTRE as required.
• Communicates verbal and written disciplines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 9+ years of qualified experience and a bachelor’s degree (OR) 15+ years of qualified experience.
• Must have a minimum of six years’ experience in maintenance operations, including performance of maintenance and repair of commercial or military equipment.
• Preferred areas of commercial or military experience are with light or heavy-duty trucks, tractors, tactical vehicles, generators, power plants, aircraft or any diesel or gasoline powered equipment or vehicle.
• Experience providing formal, over-the-shoulder, and on-the-spot training to contractor and unit personnel.
• Mechanical and electronic troubleshooting experience to diagnose, align, and repair failed and damaged systems.
• Experience with office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.
• Must have a minimum of six years’ experience in maintenance operations, including performance of maintenance and repair of commercial or military equipment.
• Preferred areas of commercial or military experience are with light or heavy-duty trucks, tractors, tactical vehicles, generators, power plants, aircraft or any diesel or gasoline powered equipment or vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior training or maintenance experience on MRAP FOV systems preferred.
• Preferably familiar or knowledgeable with MRAP/RCV systems.
• Prior training on Non – Standard Commercial Vehicles (NSCV) i.e. Toyota, Polaris.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen and have a current/active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
• Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
• Must be able to work in high noise areas.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
• Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
