DevOps Engineer

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for availability, upgrades, and administration of the DevOps tools. 
• Identify the tasks/processes which are repetitive and automate. 
• Feasibility study of business requirements. 
• Implement POCs to showcase the proposed solutions to either internal or external stakeholders. 
• Requirement analysis and effort estimation. 
• Document the steps involved in custom pipeline builds and processes. 
• Develop the solutions with inbuilt security. 
• Co-ordinate with vendors, internal teams, and customers to complete the activities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum education: B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.E/M.Tech

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT industry
• Minimum 6 years of experience in development (preferably using DevOps)

Skills

• Experience on Kubernetes, and Docker is a must.
• Experience on Gitlab including deployment, configuration and maintenance is a must.
• Should be able to design pipelines to automate the workloads: (preferably using Gitlab)
• Should be able to define branching strategy: GIT
• Should have good understanding of Linux based systems: (preferably RHEL 6 and above)
• Experience in at least few of the following programming languages: Golang, Python, Node.js, Java
• Experience in web technologies: HTML, CSS, JS/jQuery
• Good understanding of the JS frameworks: ReactJS, AngularJS, VueJS, D3.js
• Experience in at least few of the technologies would be needed:
• Terraform, Helm, AWS, GCP
• SonarQube, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Prometheus
• PowerShell, Shell Scripting
• Ansible, Drupal
• Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, CockroachDB
• Hyperledger fabric v1.4 and above, Golang
