Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. gaming, growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social, campaign).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in partner, or consumer marketing.
- Ability to adapt communication style to non-native speakers.
- Ability to distill large amounts of data into observations and actionable insights.
- Ability to take initiative, leadership roles, and breakthrough thinking and functioning in highly dynamic workstream environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
About The Job
In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the future of Google Play. You will set the strategy and goal for Google Play marketing across South East Asia (SEA). This will involve managing and advocating the Google Play marketing plans across the region together with country marketing teams and cross-functional teams, nurturing developer and payment partner relationships, developing insights through comprehensive analysis, pioneering new experiments for business growth and being a thought leader in campaign measurement. A major part of this role involves working with top global developers and regional carriers and e-wallets to grow the Google Play ecosystem.Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. Responsibilities
- Lead development of annual strategy and plans for Google Play marketing in SEA, and gain alignment with regional and global marketing teams.
- Manage campaigns and programs across the year, ensure that project management is set up to execute successful campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners (developers and payment partners) to kickstart experiments and scale programs across SEA for business growth.
- Establish a robust understanding of the user base and its similarities and nuances across different countries, through research and data analytics and provide actionable insights to achieve buyer growth.
- Manage incrementality measurement for the market to ensure that Google is measuring the impact in an accurate and credible manner.
