Why This Role Matters

DevOps Engineer contributes to delivering an exceptional client experience by ensuring robust, scalable, and automated infrastructure. The role involves managing CI/CD processes, implementing monitoring and container orchestration, adopting and spreading CI/CD and release management best practices accepted on the company level, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and performance.

The role is based in our office in Limassol, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.

What You'Ll Actually Do

  • Account for CI/CD across multiple development teams, organizing DevOps processes from start to finish
  • Introduce modern CI/CD and release management practices such as gradual rollouts, IaaC, etc 
  • Introduce and spread the DevOps best practices and instruments accepted on the company level within the development teams
  • Automate the deployment of test, integration, and production environments
  • Introduce and configure observability instruments accepted on the company level
  • Introduce and share the Observability best practices within the development teams
  • Work closely with the SRE department, Security team, and Platform teams

Who We’Re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role 
  • Expertise in CI/CD
  • Good understanding of GitOps, both pull and push models
  • Hands-on experience with containerisation solutions and particularly Kubernetes or Nomad
  • Good understanding of Quality Control and Test Automation in agile-based continuous integration environments
  • Good experience with Python or Golang or C#, or PowerShell 
  • Knowledge of English at an upper-intermediate conversational level
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities
  • Proactive attitude toward continuous learning and technical improvement

Advantages:

  • Experience with GitLab CI and ArgoCD
  • Understanding of deploying and working with Redis, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
  • Knowledge of SQL and modern RDBMS principles (especially PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with service meshes, particularly Istio
  • Basic understanding of data replication
