Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this role is pivotal in bridging the gap between corporate strategy and operational execution. The ideal candidate will leverage financial acumen to optimize cost structures, drive efficiency across R&D and SG&A functions, and ensure resource allocation aligns with growth objectives. Drive a data driven decision making framework, maximize cost efficiency, and ensure controllable risk. By establishing a unified financial analysis framework, enable the business to “make decisions based on data and improve efficiency through processes.” Serve as the “expert hub” within the corporate finance governance structure, raising overall financial transparency and compliance.

Job Description

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Business Optimization & Transformation
  • Spearhead the modernization of the OPEX financial system infrastructure, driving initiatives to reduce manual intervention and increase automation.
  • Implement standardized processes for expense reporting, budget control, and month-end close procedures to ensure data consistency across regions.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Growth Acceleration & Efficiency
  • Drive the Value Creation Plan (VCP) by analyzing SG&A, FPC and R&D cost drivers to maximize efficiency without compromising innovation or market presence.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on headcount productivity and operational spend to identify savings opportunities.
  • Support business units in prioritizing investments under constrained resource scenarios, ensuring capital is directed towards high-impact growth projects.
  • Strategic Reporting & Insights
  • Develop and maintain the "OPEX Bible," a comprehensive dashboard that tracks efficiency metrics for executive review.
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support for M&A activities, restructuring, and special projects as required.
  • Implement report automation and digitization by introducing ETL, RPA, and BI tools to automatically extract, transform, and load multi‑source data, reducing manual entry errors. Leverage Power BI, or similar visualization platforms to generate dynamic dashboards and standardized reports with “one‑click refresh” and real‑time sharing.
  • Process Optimization & Knowledge Capture
  • Conduct regular post‑close reviews to identify bottlenecks and redundant steps. Apply lean principles (“eliminate waste, simplify processes”) and lead the design and implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Team Building & Talent Development
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of the CoE team, cultivating a group of finance experts with deep technical expertise and strong business acumen.

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires significant experience in the Finance & FP&A Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Pivot), proficiency with ERP reporting modules (Oracle EPM/ODP/Hyperion), strong knowledge of Power BI; SQL or Python data‑cleaning abilities a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, both English and Chinese.
