Education & Experience
• BS in EE, ME, or other physical/chemical sciences
• 3+ years applicable experience in fabrication of semiconductor and/or thin film devices
• Knowledge of thin film fabrication processes, equipment failure analysis, thin film equipment component upgrade/modification
• High-vacuum tool operation and troubleshoot/repair
• Photolithography process experience
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word
• Experience and knowledge on Statistical Process Control
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to the organization
• Experience with AutoCAD a plus
Skills
- Mechanical design, Computer-aided design (CAD)
- Generate detailed drawings of systems and mechanical components
- Transform designs into processes that improve chip yield
- Waste Water Treatment Certification, Hazardous Material Training
- Test Equipment Set up, Operation and Troubleshooting
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Demonstrated ability to analyze wafer measurements and resolve issues related to measurements that are out of process capability
- Ability to solve problems in a timely and quality manner
- Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to anticipate and handle multiple programs and priorities
Working Conditions
- This position is on-site
- May require occasional off-site meetings or travel
- Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary
- Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job
- May require occasional overtime and flexibility in work hours to accommodate the executive’s needs
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
- Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
- Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
