The firm's core work is holistic at its approach, and it has divisions in structural, MEP, Geotechnical, and emerging construction technology such as 3D printing of concrete, technology, and 3D laser scanning.

Responsibilities
- Technical Design & Execution
- Lead the structural design of bridge projects — including concrete, steel, and composite bridges — from concept through detailed design.
- Perform complex structural analyses, including static and dynamic modeling, nonlinear analysis, seismic evaluation, and load rating of bridge components.
- Review and validate drawings, models, and calculations to ensure structural integrity, compliance with design codes (AASHTO, BS, Eurocodes, etc.), and constructability.
- Conduct value engineering studies to optimize materials, structural systems, and construction methodologies for cost efficiency and durability.
- Integrate innovative technologies and materials such as UHPC, FRP, and precast/post-tensioned systems.
- Prepare and present technical reports, bridge design briefs, design review presentations, and project recommendations.
- Project Oversight & Delivery
- Manage bridge design projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
- Apply advanced engineering knowledge to develop creative design solutions for complex bridge geometries and site constraints.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary interfaces (Geotechnical, MEP, Architectural, and Construction teams) to ensure cohesive design integration.
- Oversee quality control and ensure all deliverables meet e.construct’s standards and relevant international codes.
- Support construction supervision and resolve design-related issues during the execution phase.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and modelers in bridge design principles, software use, and best practices.
- Supervise design team activities, ensuring technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate closely with global design teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of e.construct’s bridge engineering capabilities.
- Promote a culture of innovation, sustainability, and design excellence within the bridge division.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).
- Master’s degree in Structural or Bridge Engineering (preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in bridge structural design and analysis.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams on major bridge or transportation infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in advanced modeling and analysis software such as MIDAS Civil, LUSAS, SOFiSTiK, SAP2000, CSI Bridge, or ANSYS.
- Solid understanding of international bridge design codes (AASHTO LRFD, BS 5400, EN 1991–1994, etc.).
