Role Overview:

We're looking for a Salesforce Engineering Manager to guide our DevOps Salesforce Engineering Team through the full project lifecycle—from strategy to execution—while setting the standard for technical excellence. If you bring deep expertise in Salesforce, thrive in Agile environments, and are passionate about the "lead by example" principle, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of 2-4 Senior Engineers by conveying best practices and setting standards and facilitating an agile work environment
  • Deliver Salesforce projects with high level complexity, and strategic business value. Ensure engineering decisions incorporate considerations for Salesforce-specific technical debt, system design, stability, reliability, monitoring, observability, and alignment with business needs.
  • Demonstrate expertise in resolving complex and unforeseen Salesforce-related issues under pressure, such as quickly debugging intricate production problems or leading the resolution of critical incidents.
  • Liaise with the product owners to bring their ideas to life by leveraging innovative technical Salesforce capabilities.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, backlog refinements, Sprint plannings and retrospectives) with a focus on Salesforce tasks aligned with business strategy and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure effective prioritization and management of the backlog to drive project success.

Qualifications And Skills:

Professional Background:

  • University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science or a related field
  • 4 years of technical experience, including at least 1 year of leadership experience
  • Strong people management qualities, with a focus on growing talent to form and evolve a highly effective delivery team. 
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodology
  • Salesforce platform management experience and a proven track record of programming and/or platform & systems engineering
  • Extensive experience in Salesforce administration and development roles with deep knowledge, across multiple Salesforce products (primarily Service Cloud, Salesforce Voice Cloud (AWS Connect), Agentforce, nice to have: Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud Data Cloud). 
  • Expertise in developing Salesforce customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and executing data migrations
  • Hands-on experience of integrating with REST APIs and Event-based services.

Fluent English

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical aspects to not technical audience
  • A strong passion for creating clean, maintainable & highly testable code and components.
  • Aptitude towards developing and inspiring a professional team
  • In-depth understanding of Salesforce architectural and operational best practice
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce DX Project setup (automated CI/CD, automated testing) and Git repository management.  
  • Track record in designing and operating CRM features using Salesforce in Global Consumer or Customer Service area

Collaborative mindset

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and conflicting priorities with strategic clarity

Preferred:

  • Salesforce Architect or Developer certifications  
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum based Agile development. 
  • Extensive demonstrable leadership
