The Opportunity
Cochlear now has a fantastic opportunity for a marketing specialist to join our Asia Growth Markets team, based in Singapore. This role is responsible for delivering on the Asia Growth Markets (AGM) marketing strategy through the initiation, development and execution of local programs designed for AGM countries (40% of time) and for the Singapore market (60%).
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving candidate and recipient engagement activities, demand generation, public awareness, support professional marketing activities and works closely with the marketing director and country manager (Singapore)
This is a diverse and busy role, but don’t worry you won’t be alone, you will work with, key industry professionals, recipients as well as our local and global teams to deliver against our ambitious plans.
Initiative, Develop and Execute Candidate Generation Program
- Introduce marketing programs, across platforms, to raise awareness for cochlear implant solutions to funnel candidates through the decision-making process.
- Expand Cochlear Implant (CI) referral opportunities through Cochlear candidate events, advocacy programs and medical healthcare system.
- Position Cochlear as the leading CI brand in all marketing mediums
Event Planning & Project management
- Conceptualizing, planning and managing events and working with distributor partners to make sure these drive candidate leads
- Manage day-to-day aspects of campaign & event delivery to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and on budget and are meeting goals.
- Identify and develop recipient speakers to advocate at recipient events
- Identify Cochlear ambassadors, understand hearing journey challenges, awareness issues and develop programs and tools to engage them to promote hearing loss and CI awareness
- Collects KPIs and metrics, preparing and generating reports that provide clear improvement pathways.Develop and execute on campaign plans which meet the strategic requirements of Cochlear.
- Support the execution and promotion of regional industry and consumer events for the Asia Growth Markets team.
Professional Hcp Management
- Support local professional marketing activities, across hospitals, HCPs, Clinics & Hearing aid partners
- HCP marketing which would include KOL management & developing professional marketing materials (presentations, brochures, case studies, etc.)
- Coordinate medical congress participation, ENT society collaborations, and hospital-based engagement activities to build professional trust and advocacy for Cochlear’s technology.
- Manage professional communication channels such as newsletters, webinars, and peer-to-peer sessions, ensuring content accuracy, compliance, and alignment with Cochlear global standards.
Develop the Cochlear Brand & Product launch
- Develop and execute all product launch preparation and campaigns to meet the strategic and sales objectives in Singapore.
- Develop the strategic and sustainable recipient programs and agendas.
- Identify and develop recipient speakers to advocate at recipient events
- Identify Cochlear Family ambassadors, understand hearing journey challenges, awareness issues and develop programs and tools to engage them to promote hearing loss and CI awareness
You Bring Your Skills and Experience

Whilst your marketing skills will be critical for your success in this role, your interpersonal skills will be equally (if not more so) as important as you will work side by side with professionals, candidates and recipients to ensure what we design and execute meets their needs as well as ours.
Essential:
- Diploma/ bachelor’s in business, Communication or Marketing, or relevant field
- Commercial (sales or marketing) experience. Exposure to understanding sales & marketing interplay in a healthcare sector. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in HCP & medical marketing
- knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic design software
- Commercial orientation: Understanding of interplay between sales & marketing in meeting commercial objectives.
- Persuades: Using compelling arguments to gain the support and commitment of others.
- Collaboration: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Someone passionate about marketing, sales and healthcare industry
- Experience in healthcare/medical devices industry
Fluent In English.
- Experience in HCP & medical marketing
