To Do

As Jr. Business Controller, you will play a key role in supporting financial control, performance monitoring, sustainability reporting and business analysis across various departments. You will assist in monthly & yearly closing activities and monitor key performance indicators. This role offers the opportunity to develop within a dynamic and inspiring environment, combining analytical thinking with a hands-on approach. You will report to the Finance & Sustainability Controller.

• Keep a close eye on key performance indicators (KPIs) across chocolate craftsmanship and commercial operations; spotting trends, unlocking insights, and driving continuous improvement.
• Play an active role in monthly and annual closings, by preparing accurate, and insightful reports, reconciliations, and analyses.
• Act as a business partner to teams such as Sales, Procurement, Production Atelier, Supply Chain, and IT; providing analytical insights that drive alignment and results.
• Be part of Neuhaus’ sustainability journey; supporting reporting and performance tracking that reflect our long-term ambition for responsible growth.
• Dive into standard cost calculations, uncover insights behind variances between actual and standard costs, and proactively drive efficiency and improvement.
• Continuously challenge and improve the way we report. Surprise us with fresh dashboard ideas; experience with Power BI (and data storytelling) is a strong plus!

To Be

• You hold a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• You have 2 to 3 years of experience, ideally gained in audit (Big 4 or equivalent) or a financial controlling role.
• You are analytical, detail-oriented, and structured in your way of working.
• Knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
• You have a strong interest in a production environment, with knowledge or experience in standard costing considered a plus.
• You are curious, proactive, and eager to learn, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• You are fluent in Dutch and/or French, and English.
