To thrive in this role, you like the fast-paced and ambitious environment that is characteristic of a scale-up.
Key Responsibilities

- Conduct research: Take ownership of user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to translate user pain points and needs into actionable insights.
- Integrate emerging tech: Explore the use of AI and advanced design tools to push the boundaries of product design and create next-generation educational software.
- Manage the design system: Develop, maintain, and expand TimeEdit's design system, working collaboratively with development teams to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the product suite.
- Design and deliver solutions: Create and iterate on user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new and existing features, ensuring they are optimized for accessibility compliance (e.g., WCAG standards) and a wide range of devices.
- Champion usability and accessibility: Act as an internal advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the organization.
Your Profile

- User-centered methodology: A strong portfolio demonstrating your user-centered design approach and process, including wireframing, prototyping, research, and testing.
- Proficiency in modern design tools: Expertise in tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar applications.
- Collaboration and communication skills: A team player who can clearly and effectively communicate design decisions, ideas, and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Academic background: We believe practice beats theory, but we still see an academic degree in a relevant area as a small plus.
