Job Description: SFDC Data Analyst (Migration Focus)

Role Summary:
The SFDC Data Analyst is a crucial bridge between business stakeholders and the technical data team. This role is responsible for defining, analyzing, and validating all data elements to be migrated from the Salesforce Classic environment to the consolidated Lightning org. The analyst ensures that business data requirements are met, data integrity is maintained, and compliance standards are upheld throughout the migration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Discovery & Profiling: Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the source (Classic) org to profile data, identify data quality issues, redundancies, and define cleansing and transformation rules. Create a detailed data inventory and map data relationships.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirement Gathering: Work closely with business users and Product Owners to understand critical data entities, define "golden record" sources, and establish validation rules for UAT. Translate business needs into technical data specifications.
3. Data Mapping & Compliance: Develop and maintain detailed data mapping documents, specifying how objects, fields, and records transform and load into the target Lightning org. Identify and document PII/data privacy requirements to ensure compliance (e.g., with GDPR, CCPA).
4. Validation & Quality Assurance: Design and execute data validation plans. Verify the quality, accuracy, and completeness of data post-migration by running reconciliation reports and supporting business users during UAT sign-off for data integrity.
