As a Partner Account Manager you will help manage the marketing and commercial relationships with our partners focusing on 1st, 3rd party, and physical distribution. You will be part of shaping a business area in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
About The Role
The Partner Account Manager is expected to drive sustainable revenue growth with key distribution partners. This includes defining, initiating and driving business opportunities with strong self-leadership skills.
As part of the Sales team, the Partner Account Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, while keeping up to date with product roadmaps, release windows and industry trends. Key areas of expertise include account management, data analysis and a strong understanding of business fundamentals.
Responsibilities
As a Partner Account Manager you will manage and build relationships with our key distribution partners and lead negotiations to bring the best possible deals for our games with a long term mindset. You will work close to our partners’ businesses and goals whilst keeping the priorities of Paradox firmly in mind. You need to be data driven to identify opportunities and act on them in collaboration with relevant teams. You will also define best practices and streamline ways of working with your partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
- 3+ years experience in account management or business development
- Ability to lead, influence and drive results
- Excellent English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in business analysis
- Experience within the games industry
- Strong partner relationship management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record working with big data sets in Excel or similar
- A genuine interest in games and a deep knowledge of the games industry
On a personal level, you should thrive in a fast paced environment being able to shift focus from long-term strategy down to operational problem solving.
