Job Summary:
Focuses on optimizing and troubleshooting the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) systems and applications. Performs a high degree of customer service. Investigates HRIS issues, documents findings, status and resolution. Works increased hours during training and high volume cycles, as necessary.
Job Requirements:
Education And Work Experience:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Bachelor's Degree with coursework in human resources and information systems: Preferred
- HR system/application/data troubleshooting: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Human Resource Information Professional (HRIP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP): Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Escalates unresolved issues. Participates in testing of resolutions from escalated issues. Runs proactive queries and relevant tests to diagnose system and data integrity issues. Acquires job skills and learns techniques, processes and procedures to perform the job.
- Provides HRIS systems support to HR functions. Prepares spreadsheets for large quantities of benefits, compensation, or timekeeping data. Assists with processing changes to the benefits plan and conducting a test cycle to ensure readiness for open enrollment. Supports absence management processes.
- Participates in testing applications and integrations. Identifies process and procedure improvement opportunities. Applies basic techniques, principles, theories and concepts of the discipline, staff, technologies, services and practices to complete routine assignments.
- Serves on teams planning and implementing continuous improvement. Assists with refreshing the knowledge base and training other staff. Makes decisions regarding own work within defined parameters, often limited and confined to routine matters. Works under direct supervision.
