Summary of Responsibility: 
The Capital Account Manager manages and grows business within Western Tennessee and Mississippi, driving sales, profitability, and market share for Okuma, Tsugami, and other Morris product lines. This role develops and executes strategic territory plans, secures new business, and maintains strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and contractual compliance. The Sales Engineer provides accurate sales forecasts, resolves customer issues promptly, and maintains strong technical knowledge of the machine tool industry. Travel up to 70%, including overnight, is required based on territory needs.
What You Will Contribute:
- Responsible for managing the territory of Western Tennessee and a large part of Mississippi.
- Accountable for overall territory management, achievement of equipment sales goals, profitability, market share growth, and account management within the assigned product lines.
- Develop and implement comprehensive territory plans by account to increase revenue and secure new business.
- Target and develop both new account opportunities as well as convert competitive customers to Okuma, Tsugami, and other products within the Morris core offering.
- Provide accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts.
- Maintain existing business including ensuring accounts remain contractually relevant, including accounts receivables, and incremental business is achieved.
- Resolve customer concerns through accurate and timely investigations; swiftly develop and implement corrective actions to ensure outstanding service for our customers and clients.
- Travel up to 70% dependent on territory geography and need, including overnight travel as needed.
- Possess and maintain a high technical proficiency of the machine tool industry, Morris South’s products, as well as its competitors.

Qualifications & Competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience demonstrated experience.
- Excellent sales skills with proven track record of success in B2B environments
- Formal sales training programs completed (IE: SPIN, Challenger, Miller Heiman, IMPACT selling, etc.) Preferred, but not required.
- A curious and competitive drive, demonstrated by company awards and solid rankings.
- High level of technical skill as demonstrated in prior experience and education.
- Ability to communicate effectively and articulate offerings tailored to customer needs.
- High integrity and ethical thought processes
- Prior machine tools or related industrial products preferred but not required.
- Experience using CRM such as Salesforce.
