Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 533564) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, or min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, plus at least 1 year’s work experience preferably in a tertiary institution. They should be mature and self-motivated individuals who have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage), good interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently. Those with higher qualifications may be offered the functional title of Executive Assistant.
The appointee will perform a wide spectrum of secretarial and administrative support to the Faculty Secretary. He/She will manage and organise the Faculty Secretary’s daily schedules and business appointments; liaise with internal and external parties for daily administration operation; handle all enquires and correspondence independently; provide administrative support including sorting incoming correspondence and arranging internal and external meetings and functions when required; provide clerical support in human resources management; and carry out other ad-hoc tasks as assigned. The appointee has to maintain the strictest confidentiality at all times.
