Investment Analyst/Associate in the Investment Office (Ref.:533489) (to commence as soon as possible for six months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
We are seeking an Investment Analyst/Associate to join the Investment Office to support the investment strategy and operational functions.
The Role
The appointee will support the investment team in managing a diversified portfolio across multiple asset classes. He/she will conduct research, perform due diligence on managers, analyze portfolio performance and assist in executing investment transactions. Key responsibilities include:

- 3. Investment & Operational Due Diligence, Compliance & Legal Oversight
- 4. Performance Measurement, Reporting & Data Management
- 5. Collaboration and Process Improvement
- Conduct research and analysis on markets, sectors, and investment opportunities;
- Support the development and implementation of asset allocation strategies;
- Prepare investment recommendations and portfolio analyses for the investment team;
- Monitor existing investments and contribute to ongoing portfolio optimization;
- Assist in manager selection, due diligence, and ongoing evaluation.
- Assist in executing investment transactions across public and private markets;
- Manage capital calls, distributions, and cash flow processes for private investments; and
- Prepare fund subscriptions, redemptions and KYC documentation.
- Support investment and operational due diligence on new investment opportunities and ongoing reviews of existing investments across public and private markets;
- Monitor portfolio adherence to internal policies and legal guidelines; and
- Collaborate with legal counsel to manage documentation and contract reviews.
- Prepare and deliver timely performance reports to stakeholders, including portfolio analytics and benchmarking;
- Monitor and report key investment metrics, including risk and liquidity;
- Support the maintenance of portfolio management systems and data processes to ensure accurate and efficient reporting.
- Work closely with the investment team, custodians, and external fund managers to streamline operational processes; and
- Identify and execute opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Qualifications And Qualities
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or CFA designation is preferred;
- 2-4 years of experience in portfolio management or investment operations, preferably within an endowment, foundation, pension fund, or asset management firm;
- Good knowledge of private and public market investments, including operational nuances of capital calls, distributions, and fund structures;
- Familiarity with portfolio management systems, performance reporting tools, and data management processes;
- Familiarity with compliance and legal guidelines in institutional investment settings;
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
- Proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
- Proficiency in systems such as Bloomberg, eFront, or similar portfolio management tools; and
- Knowledge of financial and investment reporting standards (e.g., GIPS compliance).
