Currently, we are seeking a Cloud Engineer - CISPOINT to join our Team! This position will work with COMSO’s Managed Security Service Provider, CISPOINT.

Key Responsibilities:

• THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION LOCATED IN COLUMBIA, MD
• Architect and implement Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions in Microsoft Cloud environments.
• Set up and manage secure enclaves within Azure, ensuring robust isolation and security.
• Support and maintain Microsoft GCC High environments for federal workloads.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to align infrastructure with federal standards.
• Automate cloud provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor cloud performance, security posture, and cost efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and compliance audits.

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including GCC High.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure security and best practices.
• Experience deploying and managing VDIs in enterprise or government environments.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform, ARM templates).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing and deploying CMMC-compliant cloud environments.
• Familiarity with CMMC Level 2/3 requirements and enclave architecture.
• Prior involvement in projects requiring GCC High for CMMC compliance.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Security Engineer, or CMMC Assessor/Practitioner.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, and other federal compliance frameworks.
• Experience supporting DoD or federal agency cloud initiatives
• Driving record will be checked.

On Target Earning: $80,000 - $115,000

Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, candidate’s scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and alignment with local market data.
