We have an immediate requirement for a HR Business Partner – Commercial, reporting to the Cluster People Manager – PNG and Solomon Islands.
About The Role:
As a strategic HR Business Partner for SP Brewery’s Commercial Division, which comprises of Marketing, Sales and Trade Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in aligning people strategies with business objectives. You will work closely with the Sale and Marketing MT and senior commercial leaders to drive performance, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
Main Duties Will Include:
- Collaborate with Commercial leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Influence and support strategic workforce planning and organizational design.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on people-related matters.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment planning, role design, and selection processes for commercial teams.
- Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
- Partner with Learning & Development to build commercial capabilities and leadership pipelines.
- Drive performance management processes that foster accountability and growth.
- Champion employee engagement strategies tailored to commercial teams.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the function.
- Facilitate feedback loops and action planning from engagement surveys.
- Lead HR aspects of transformation and change programs within the Commercial function.
- Promote Heineken’s values and behaviors through culture-building initiatives.
- Support integration of new tools, systems, and ways of working.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and ethical standards.
- Partner with Heineken Global and Regional HR Centers of Expertise (CoEs) and HR Services for seamless delivery.
- Use data and analytics to inform decisions and measure impact of HR initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Commercial teams.
- Represent the Commercial function in cross-functional HR forums and projects.
- Act as a liaison between global HR strategy and local execution.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a business partner role.
- Strong understanding of commercial functions (Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Experience in a multinational or FMCG environment is a plus.
