We’re seeking a creative, culturally in-tune, and detail-obsessed Copywriter to join our growing team.  Position Overview: 
The Copywriter will be responsible for developing compelling, brand-right copy across all consumer touchpoints, including product launches, marketing campaigns, digital channels, and packaging. The ideal candidate has 5–9 years of experience writing in the fashion or apparel space and a deep understanding of current trends, internet culture, and what resonates with our customer. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and edit clear, engaging, and on-brand copy for product descriptions, email campaigns, paid ads, social media, website, packaging, and more 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Product Development, Marketing, and Creative teams to ensure alignment and consistency in tone and messaging 
  • Interpret seasonal campaigns and product stories into copy that drives engagement and conversion 
  • Maintain and evolve the SKIMS voice across all platforms, ensuring consistency and freshness 
  • Conduct competitive research and stay up-to-date on fashion, social, and cultural trends to inform copy tone and direction 
  • Assist in naming products and collections with creative flair and strategic rationale 
  • Proofread all copy for grammar, punctuation, and adherence to brand guidelines 
  • Work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and high-volume output 


Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

  • 5–9 years of copywriting experience, specifically in the fashion, lifestyle, or beauty industries 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of work across ecommerce, campaigns, and digital marketing 
  • Deep understanding of Gen Z and Millennial audiences and the cultural conversations they’re tapped into 
  • Proven ability to write with clarity, creativity, and nuance across multiple formats 
  • Excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading skills 
  • A highly organized, collaborative, and self-motivated mindset 
  • Familiarity with SEO, UX copy, and e-commerce best practices a plus 
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred
