The Business Development Representative plays a key role in fuelling our commercial growth engine. This role is focused on top-of-funnel prospecting and outreach to target accounts primarily in Retail and Property Management, but also across Restaurant Chains, Healthcare, Construction, and other B2B verticals.
You’ll use a modern AI-driven tech stack (HubSpot, 6sense, Clay, Apollo, Dialpad) to identify, engage, and qualify prospective customers — creating high-value opportunities for our Business Development Managers to close.
🏢 Hybrid Work Environment
Toronto-Based Team Members Work In-Office Every Other Week (Tues–Thurs). Core Attendance Is Required From 9 Am – 3 Pm On These Days To Support Business Priorities.
💼 A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Execute outbound prospecting using AI-powered tools to identify and connect with decision-makers in target accounts.
- Run multi-channel outreach sequences (email, phone, social) optimized with data and buying intent signals.
- Generate and qualify a consistent flow of net-new opportunities each month using predictive lead scoring and enrichment platforms.
- Collaborate with BDMs to hand off warm, sales-ready leads and participate in early discovery conversations.
- Use HubSpot, 6sense, Clay, and Apollo to track buying behavior, segment prospects, and trigger timely outreach.
- Log and manage all prospecting activity in CRM to ensure accurate reporting and pipeline visibility.
- Partner with RevOps and leadership to improve automation, lead routing, and campaign analytics.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, customer challenges, and emerging opportunities across key verticals.
- Multi-thread across organizations engaging multiple decision-makers to accelerate deal momentum.
- Consistently exceed prospecting targets, building $M-scale pipelines, and creating enterprise-level opportunities.
- Experiment with automation, AI prompts, and data-driven outreach to continuously improve results.
- Work in fast-paced, tech-enabled environments where curiosity, learning, and adaptability are key.
🎯 WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- 2+ years in B2B sales, demand generation, or SDR/BDR roles.
- Must be located in GTA (Greater Toronto Area)
Post secondary educationpreferred
- Experience with modern sales enablement tools (HubSpot, Apollo, Clay, 6sense, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; skilled at personalizing outreach at scale.
- Data-driven mindset with comfort using analytics to guide strategy and measure success.
- Familiarity with retail, property management, or multi-location services industries is an asset.
Success Metrics
- Net-new qualified opportunities generated per month.
- Conversion rate from outreach → qualified opportunity.
- Pipeline value created (target: $4M+ annualized).
- CRM compliance and data quality accuracy.
