Company Description
As Legal Counsel Data Privacy, you will be working in the Center of Expertise of the Data & Privacy team. You will act as a trusted partner for the other legal colleagues at Red Bull and our various Red Bull business units.
Within the team you will focus on day-to-day legal & Data Privacy advice as well as the operational part of Data & Privacy Compliance. In this way, you will help in strengthening and innovating data privacy for Red Bull.
Job Description
DATA & PRIVACY CENTER OF EXPERTISE
In consultation with key stakeholders, both in the different legal departments and business units, you will support in advising exciting and complex projects, contracts and processes. You will be involved in a variety of topics, focusing especially on new technologies such as AI, digital developments such as AdTech and technical innovations. Fast and pragmatic thinking as well as solution-oriented working is essential for this role, which is highly involved in a dynamic and fast-moving field.
Policies And Guidelines
By drafting new and reviewing existing policies and guidelines, you will help in simplifying processes and strengthening data & privacy compliance. This requires also close collaboration with our technical counterparts within the company.
Data & Privacy Operational Compliance
You will support the Data & Privacy Compliance team with the operational execution of strategies and processes, directly contributing to the improvement of our global data privacy strategy.
Trainings & Knowledge Management
You will assist with knowledge sharing and the monitoring of privacy developments and develop and provide key privacy trainings within the company.
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of combined, relevant experience in international law firms and/or in-house legal departments of an international company.
Degree in law or economic law from a reputable university; a postgraduate degree is an advantage. CIPP/E or a comparable data privacy qualification is also beneficial.
Solid knowledge of European data privacy law, experience in supporting and advising strategic and international projects and stakeholder management.
You have sharp analytical and communication skills and a strong aptitude for technology. You are diligent, proactive, collaborative, and have demonstrated excellent legal and business judgment and strategic thinking.
You are able to evaluate complex topics and conclude well-balanced risk assessments.
Excellent organizational skills and solution-oriented, with a well-structured and pragmatic working style.
Strong proficiency in English, with German as an additional working language being a plus.
Additional Information
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2.303,- gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
