Role Overview

As a Technical Project Manager, you will work closely with members of multiple business teams to help define, streamline, design and analysis data to build business requirements and then work with Global Technology Services teams to articulate requirements, further perform functional & technical data & system analysis, drive engineering to implementation. In addition, the ideal candidate must possess a high degree of collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate effectively on many levels.

What You Will Do 

  • Manage technology programs, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation, and successful on-time delivery.
  • Work with product and program owners to come up with innovative solutions for their business problems.
  • Work on massive distributed, large-scale systems, storage solutions, applications, and new platforms.
  • Utilize technical acumen in working with large, cross-functional teams.
  • Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity.
  • Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company
  • Strong functional & technical analytical & design capability to understand Common & shared platforms, infrastructure, & services with underlying data
  • Should be able to dive deep to come up with new service & infrastructure scenarios that helps solving systems bigger problems by simplifying our services & infrastructure and help increase productivity & efficiency or every system and service in the company
  • Strong blend of technical, business, and program management experience that enables seamless communication across teams, project execution and great customer reach
  • Creates, evolves, and communicates specifications for feature areas that enable cohesive, compatible, iterable scenarios that span multiple feature teams and enable a durable multi-year vision
  • Establishes, enables and improves systems to manage product feedback from customers to resolve issues
  • Reviews and contributes to ecosystem design

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, business or related discipline.
  • At least 8 years experience as a Technical Program Manager, manaing large scale cross-functional projects.
  • Expert‐level knowledge of project and change management methodologies, techniques, processes (e.g., Project and Portfolio Management Methodology – PPM)
  • Budget, cost and profitability management skills
  • Solid Data Center, Compute, & Network Infrastructure experience
  • Flexible, adaptable and resourceful when managing changing timelines and multiple deliverables
  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities in a matrixed environment
  • Proven problem solving and negotiation skills in multi-party situations
  • Exceptional communication skills, executive presentation skills, relationship building skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English
