Job Description
To control the management of allocated discretionary and advisory managed portfolios, in order to maximise the value of funds within the terms of investment policy and client requirements, develop long term relationships with clients, support offshore and wider group marketing initiatives and ensure identification and mitigation of risks, in-line with applicable legislation and standards and industry best practice.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
- Diploma in Finance and Accounting
- Post Graduate Diploma in Finance and Accounting
Experience Required :
- 5 - 7 years in Asset Management
- Relevant investment industry experience in a similar role.
Key Outputs :
- Actively participate in various investment committees and meetings, contribute to global monitored list and equity models by leading the coverage of a selection of stocks
- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with all relevant fiduciary partners and other relevant stakeholders
- Conduct regular evaluations of client portfolios in order to keep them informed of their position and verify that appropriate levels of fees or commission are being charges
- Create a collaborative and client-focused relationship with all internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions
- Deliver exceptional levels of service to clients by owning customer issues, keeping customers informed, and ensuring all their requirements are met timeously, while adhering to the Standard Bank customer service and customer experience standards
