Recorded Future is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with specific domain related internships or early-career professional looking to grow their experience in cybersecurity compliance and risk management.
In this role, you will support our ongoing efforts to maintain compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, and CMMC. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals across security, IT, and risk teams, gaining hands-on exposure to evidence collection, policy documentation, and audit preparation activities.
What You’Ll Do:
- Assist with the collection, organization, and tracking of audit evidence and compliance documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date repositories for compliance materials, including control procedures and policies.
- Help track remediation activities and follow up on outstanding items.
- Support audit readiness efforts by coordinating with internal stakeholders.
- Learn and apply key compliance concepts and frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC).
- Document meeting notes, decisions, and action items related to compliance initiatives.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of internal process documentation and checklists.
What You’Ll Bring:
- 2+ years of full-time professional or relevant internship experience in cybersecurity, IT, audit, risk management, or compliance.
- Foundational knowledge of information security or regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, or CMMC).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage documentation accurately.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in building a career in compliance, cybersecurity, or risk management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to GRC tools or platforms (e.g., Vanta, Drata, OneTrust, ServiceNow).
- Coursework or certifications related to cybersecurity, audit, or compliance (e.g., CISA, CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001 training).
- Familiarity with basic IT concepts or cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
