As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you'll play a key role in our innovative team dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for our global customers.
From powering platforms like NBCUniversal’s Peacock in the United States to Sky’s NOW, and SkyShowtime across Europe and Showmax in Africa, one thing’s for certain, your contributions will impact millions of viewers worldwide.
What You'Ll Do:
- Act as the primary technical point of contact between Sky and operator partners, representing our technical requirements and capabilities throughout all integration phases.
- Support contract discussions with operators by defining and validating the technical scope required to deliver Sky’s service on partner platforms.
- Lead technical workshops and meetings with external partners, aligning on technical aspects, device specifications, and delivery milestones.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, product, and commercial teams to ensure that proposed solutions meet business needs while maintaining technical excellence.
- Oversee the setup, testing, and deployment of Sky applications on operator set top boxes.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards and performance criteria, documenting integration steps, test results, and release readiness.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies, proactively escalating issues where necessary.
- Support continuous improvement of integration processes, providing feedback loops between engineering and external partners to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Maintain clear and transparent communication with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring visibility on progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Represent Sky in partner discussions as a trusted technical authority, ensuring that quality, user experience, and engineering principles remain at the forefront of delivery.
What You'Ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical or delivery-focused role within the telecommunications or OTT industry (e.g., operators, vendors, or system integrators).
- Technical knowledge of Set Top Boxes, middleware, and OTT application integration.
- Experience collaborating with operator partners or working in environments involving device certification, firmware integration, or broadcast systems.
- Proven ability to bridge technical and commercial conversations, translating complex technical topics into actionable business requirements.
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills — able to manage expectations, priorities, and delivery schedules with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, comfortable leading discussions with both engineers and commercial stakeholders.
- High level of autonomy and accountability, with attention to detail and a strong drive to deliver.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on maintaining technical integrity and delivery quality.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
