The Adviser business at Aberdeen provides support, expertise, and technology for financial advisers in the UK, enabling them to create value for their businesses and clients. About The Role

Reporting to the Product Manager, the Content Manager will focus on ensuring the delivery of content and experiences that support marketing initiatives, product launches, and service support.  This includes creating, publishing and maintaining content that helps advisers and customers engage with our platforms and products effectively. There will be close collaboration with marketing, product and customer service teams as well as working within a multidisciplinary team who will collaborate to deliver on shared objectives.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting delivery of the product vision and strategy as set out by the Product Manager, ensuring appropriate processes are followed in the production cycle.
  • Creating, maintaining, optimising, and retiring content using the Content Management System, ensuring websites are accurate, up to date, and functional.
  • Upholding digital standards by managing website quality score, identifying and resolving technical issues, and working with stakeholders to improve journeys.
  • Optimising for search by ensuring the website is effective for both on-site and external search engines, strengthening the organisation’s online presence.
  • Managing a varied workload ranging from small copy changes to larger scale projects, working within SLAs and sprint cycles.
  • Collaborating with UX/UI designers, content owners, and web developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Implementing and reporting on web analytics to monitor performance and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary product team including UX/UI design and web development.
  • Participating in a culture of innovation and learning to help Aberdeen stay competitive and adaptive to user and market needs, keeping in tune with industry changes and technology improvements. 

About The Candidate

  • Experience with Content Management Systems (Sitecore XM preferred) to manage public website content.
  • Knowledge of technical SEO, website optimisation, accessibility, and web analytics tools (e.g. Siteimprove, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Contentsquare).
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on consistency, quality, and meeting deadlines across multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to change.
  • Passion for user-centred design, incorporating research, data, and feedback into product development.
  • Proven collaboration with design, engineering, and data teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
