Technical Business Analyst-Salesforce
Wilmington, Delaware-Hybrid
Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Citizen IT team. This role will support the ongoing development, optimization, and maintenance of our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders across departments to elicit requirements, analyze business processes, and help implement Salesforce solutions that drive efficiency and enhance user experience. The role requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills, research, facilitation, and ongoing collaboration with stakeholders.
Some of the things you will be doing:
- Collaborate with business users to elicit and document requirements for Salesforce enhancements and new features
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories for the development team
- Participate in story grooming sessions and sprint planning as part of an Agile Scrum team
- Support the configuration and customization of Salesforce workflows, reports, and dashboards
- Drive process improvement by analyzing current workflows and identifying areas for optimization
- Provide end-user support and training on Salesforce functionality
- Develop end-user training guides and documentation
- Create dashboards and reports to support business decision-making
- Analyze and troubleshoot user issues, developing user stories for enhancements as needed
- Stay current with Salesforce best practices, new features, and platform updates
- Conduct research and data analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Assist in testing and validating solutions to ensure they meet business requirements
- What technical skills, experience and qualifications do I need?

- What technical skills, experience and qualifications do I need?
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with business process analysis, modeling, and optimization methodologies.
- Proficient in Excel
- Prior experience with Salesforce as a user or administrator a plus
- Prior experience in business analysis role a plus
- Familiarity with business process analysis, modeling, and optimization methodologies a plus
- Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, including workflows, approvals process, and automation tools a plus
- Experience with SQL/SOQL and relational databases a plus
