Maintenance Manager is responsible for strategy and overall management required to maintain the plant equipment to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operations. Maintenance Manager will work in close coordination with Plant Manager and Operations Manager while leading plant maintenance activities at site.

Role Summary/Purpose

Maintenance Manager is responsible for strategy and overall management required to maintain the plant equipment to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operations. Maintenance Manager will work in close coordination with Plant Manager and Operations Manager while leading plant maintenance activities at site.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide overall management required to maintain all site equipment
• Hire, develop, supervise, evaluate and lead a skilled and effective O&M maintenance team
• Develop and implement maintenance strategy based on a Reliability Based Maintenance program consistent with achieving maximum plant efficiency to meet customer requirements in the most safe, reliable, economical and environmentally safe manner
• Support and drive a culture of lean including kaizens, standard work, and daily management as the foundation in the way we work
• Drive implementation and utilization of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) at the Facility
• Establish Inventory Management for critical spare parts utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and maintain optimum stock of spares and consumables
• Manage Routine, Planned and Unplanned Maintenance activities for the power plant equipment
• Ensure compliance with requirements for environmental, health and safety requirements in plant maintenance activities
• Support implementation of Log-Out/Tag Out (LOTO) System in accordance with the Contractor’s policies and procedures with the assistance of the Customer as applicable
• Manage development and implementation of maintenance procedures for major systems using Facility designer’s operation manuals/procedures and equipment Vendors' instructions.
• Recommend Facility modifications and upgrades to the Customer to enhance plant reliability and performance
• Co-ordinate with GE Vernova O&M Support team, GE Vernova Engineering and other support function team for the resolution of complex issues relevant to maintenance
• Drive optimization of plant maintenance strategies with the aim of achieving lower cost operation and/or increased efficiency and output
• Prepare and submits maintenance activities reports as per requirements of the contract
• Assist Customer in set-up of the Facility Maintenance shop, Tool Room and laboratories.
• Lead plant root cause analysis for the technical events
• Provide coverage for Plant Manager or Operations Manager as applicable
• Support the Plant Manager to meet the contractual, technical and commercial targets
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the business leadership

Required Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical or Controls from an accredited College or University
• Minimum 10 years of Gas Turbine Combined Cycle Power Plant O&M experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Team Lead/Section Head of maintenance team
• Proficiency in written and spoken English language
