Open Ended Contract - Permanent.
Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.
The post holder will be directly involved in the preparation, execution and recording of deals relating to Treasury Instruments, long-term debt arrangements and foreign currency trades. Attending monthly Group Treasury meetings, the Post holder will be an active member of the team supporting all principal Treasury activities and contributing to the ongoing development and delivery of the Treasury Management Policy (TMP).

The Opportunity:
In this role, you will be supporting key areas of our business by:
- Collating information required for the annual reports for Treasury.
- Supporting the Know Your Customer processes with new and existing counterparties.
- Supporting key Treasury and cash related projects.
- Assisting with resolving or escalating Treasury related queries / enquiries.
- Assisting with the development of the Treasury Model and other tools to ensure cash tracking and monitoring is up to date.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Clear understanding of the regulations and codes of practice set for the conduct and output of the role
- Experience of planning and progressing work activities within general guidelines, using initiative and judgement without recourse to seniors
- Detailed operational knowledge of systems relevant to own field of work in terms of functionality and capability and/or detailed knowledge of own service area and products/services available
- Completion of or desire to undertake ACT/treasury qualification or equivalent
- CCAB qualified
- Experience of the Higher/Further Education Sector
- An understanding of core Treasury instruments and objectives in a University setting would be an advantage
