Job Purpose: Architect will implement the design, plan, and oversee the construction of port facilities and infrastructure. The role ensures alignment with local regulations, sustainability standards, and long-term growth objectives, blending architectural expertise, urban planning, and project management skills.

Urban And Architectural Planning:

  • Drive the execution of master plans for organization-owned land assets (ports, SEZs, and DTA land), ensuring seamless alignment with strategic objectives and the promoter's vision while implementing long-term strategies for growth, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.

Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate with engineers, construction teams, urban planners, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated planning and smooth execution of the architectural vision.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure that all architectural designs comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and zoning laws, as well as port industry-specific standards.

Industry Trends:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure designs are innovative and forward-thinking.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with key internal and external stakeholders including government authorities, contractors, port operators, and other relevant parties to ensure alignment on design concepts, project scope, and delivery timelines.

Infrastructure Integration:

  • Work closely with port planners to align architectural designs with operational efficiency and logistics requirements, including access for trucks, containers, and heavy equipment.

Innovation And Technical Expertise:

  • Use state-of-the-art software and tools for design, modeling, and visualization to ensure precision and clarity in architectural plans.

Digital Mindset:

  • Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Urban Planning from a recognized institution.

Certification in port and industrial design is a plus.

Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural design and urban planning, with a focus on industrial, infrastructure, or port-related projects.
