Job Overview

Kofile is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to support our distributed workforce and ensure an exceptional team member experience across our Missouri, North Carolina, and California locations. This role partners closely with operational and functional leaders to strengthen culture, performance, and engagement across remote and on-site teams. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, trusted advisor, and culture champion who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for leaders and team members across assigned locations and remote teams.
  • Build trusted, influential relationships with leaders to align people strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, team development, and employee relations.
  • Lead or support investigations and advise on corrective actions, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance.
  • Partner with leadership to foster a high-performance, values-driven culture that aligns with Kofile’s core values of Integrity, Pride, Appreciation, and Innovation.
  • Analyze people data and trends to provide actionable insights on engagement, turnover, performance, and diversity.
  • Partner with L&D and leaders to assess and address team training and development needs.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and act as a culture ambassador during times of transformation.
  • Facilitate the performance management process, including goal setting, coaching, and development planning.
  • Collaborate with HR partners on compensation reviews, merit cycles, and talent reviews.
  • Ensure consistent onboarding and offboarding experiences across remote and on-site teams.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (TX, MO, NC, CA preferred).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, and practices across Kofile.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years in a strategic HR role supporting distributed or multi-site teams.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business goals into effective people strategies.
  • High emotional intelligence with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Skilled in managing sensitive and confidential matters with sound judgment.
  • Experienced in employee relations, coaching, and influencing without authority.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices across multiple states.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% between assigned locations and occasional corporate travel.
