  • YOUR ROLE AS A QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER (QA ENGINEER):

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing a suitable system of quality assurance operations to effectively and efficiently ensure and enforce the compliance of airworthiness requirements and safety by the Engineering and Maintenance Section in its effort to produce serviceable aircraft for service

What You’Ll Champion:

  • Authority Liaison: Liaise with the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) and other relevant Airworthiness Authorities on all matters concerning airworthiness, company approvals, and regulatory changes.
  • Maintenance Schedule Management: Study, vet, and amend aircraft maintenance schedules, thoroughly considering all implications (safety, airworthiness, and economic benefit) before submitting them to the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) and/or CAAT for final approval.
  • Quality Surveillance: Implement and maintain a rigorous system of audit, surveillance, sampling inspection, and spot checks to verify that all maintenance and engineering activities strictly adhere to Company and CAAT requirements.
  • Issue Resolution (CAPA): Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and risk assessments to effectively address identified quality issues, ensuring prompt implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent future occurrences.
  • Personnel Authorization: Implement, control, and record-keep the issuance of Licenses and Approvals for all personnel in the Engineering and Maintenance Sections, ensuring continuous compliance with Company policies and CAAT requirements.
  • Training Needs: Identify training requirements for all licensed and non-licensed staff within the Engineering department and actively monitor the continuity and validity of their training records.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Engineering, or a related aircraft engineering field.
  • Relevant experience at least 1-3 years in airworthiness, quality assurance, or quality control, preferably within an airline industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of Thai Civil Aviation Regulations (TCARs) and the requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT).
  • Familiarity with international standards like EASA/FAA regulations is a significant advantage.
  • Strong communication in English and interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work effectively with associates at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Computer skills- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Project, and Google Products for work.
  • Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities, and work under pressure.
