Our client is seeking a versatile Web Developer to join their expanding digital team. You’ll take full ownership of developing, maintaining, and optimizing high-performance websites across WordPress and Shopify platforms. Collaborating with design, marketing, and content teams, you’ll create seamless, responsive, and conversion-driven digital experiences that align with business goals.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance websites on WordPress and Shopify platforms.
- Customize themes, plugins, and templates to meet brand and UX standards.
- Ensure all sites are responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for speed and conversions.
- Implement and manage API integrations, payment gateways, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain site functionality across browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to transform concepts and designs into functional web pages.
- Continuously monitor and improve site performance, accessibility, and scalability.
- Stay up to date with modern web technologies and industry best practices.
Core Skills & Experience
- Proven experience building and managing WordPress websites (Elementor, Gutenberg, WooCommerce).
- Strong proficiency in Shopify (Liquid, Shopify CLI, and custom theme development).
- Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind).
- Deep understanding of web performance optimization, caching, and Core Web Vitals.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices, metadata, and structured data.
- Experience with API integrations (REST, GraphQL).
- Familiarity with domain management, hosting, and DNS configuration.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Webflow, Framer, or Next.js.
- Familiarity with Firebase or Supabase for backend web apps.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and proficiency in Figma.
- Basic experience with Git, CI/CD, and staging environments.
- Basic design or content formatting skills.
